Abstract

 Immunologic-allergic diseases affect approximately 30% of the Brazilian population, and in recent decades, there has been an increase in both the prevalence and severity of these diseases. This experiential report describes the perception of the community served by an Educational-Assistance Health Center in Maceió, Alagoas, regarding the Extension Project "Living Well with Allergies." The project aims to ensure effective access to information, promoting awareness and guidance on these pathologies. Health education activities were conducted in the waiting room of the community health center, focusing on the main immunologic-allergic diseases through lectures and distribution of educational materials. Overall, the project was well received by the target audience, who showed interest in the topics and actively engaged during the activities. Based on the positive feedback from the community, it is evident that the project has succeeded in its goal of health education and can contribute to improving the quality of life and well-being of the population served at the community health center.
