Formative experience and "Autobiographical Research": how I understand my own story

Abstract

This text presents reflections originating from a formative experience during the research-training, using narratives in the master's degree, based on the (auto)biographical approach. The objective is to discuss the development of the researcher-trainer, considering the process of his performance as a person, professional and researcher, through the recording of actions experienced, in the light of the specialized literature and confronting them with the life stories of the researcher himself. The research is based on the principle of hermeneutics, which postulates that knowledge is the result of experience reflected critically. The process involves a dynamic of reflective self-understanding, respecting the contexts experienced and recognizing the movement of knowledge construction through the (auto)biographical narratives of the life trajectory. The analysis considers time and space, as well as the relationships that made this narrative construction possible, based on authors such as Passeggi (2016), Nóvoa (2010), Bragança (2011), Arfuch (2010), Alheit and Dausien (2006) and Souza (2014).
