Abstract

This research paper aims to investigate and highlight how planning, practices, and technologies used in remote EJA (Youth and Adult Education) classes were carried out in some units of FUMEC (Municipal Foundation for Community Education) in the city of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil. Notably, during the pandemic, COVID-19 devastated the world, significantly affecting the entire educational process, especially EJA. In this study, we sought to examine the difficulties and challenges faced in students’ learning. The methodology used in the development of the research follows a qualitative approach, including dialogues with teachers from the institution and the analysis of documents and reports related to remote classes. The theoretical framework is based on references from authors such as Lunardi (2021), Miranda (2020), Garrido (2014), Lima (2010), among others.
